چکیده

Abstract Salicylic acid (SA) is an organic found in willow bark and most widely known as the precursor to acetyl salicylic acid. Such salicylates were commonly used anti-inflammatory drugs, both human veterinary medicine. Thus, present study aims evaluate effect of SA 80 weaning pigs [(Landrace × Yorkshire) Duroc] with average initial body weight 6.38 ± 1.42 kg that randomly assigned treatment by (BW). The feeding trial was divided into three phases: Phase- 1 (1to 7 days), 2 (8 21 days) Phase-3 (22 42 days). For a period 6 weeks, allotted two treatments, CON (basal diet) (CON + 0.05% acid), 8 replications per five pen. Supplemental effects on growth performance measured at end days 7, 21, 42. Blood samples collected from pen d Turkey test performed using GLM procedure SAS determine supplement experimental unit. Dietary inclusion supplementation (P< 0.05) significantly improved BW gain pig compared control. Over entire period, fed diet supplemented has tended increase (P = 0.06) daily (ADG), feed intake 0.07), respectively, those diet. Moreover, trial, blood parameters serum iron (Fe) concentration greater SA. In conclusion, positively influenced BW, ADG, ADFI Fe without affecting nutrient digestibility fecal score.

Effects of phenyllactic acid on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, microbial shedding, and blood profile in pigs.

Ninety weanling pigs in Exp. 1 (6.27 +/- 0.73 kg; 21 d of age) and 96 growing pigs in Exp. 2 (21.73 kg +/- 1.29 kg; 56 d of age) were used in two 42-d experiments to evaluate the effect of phenyllactic acid (PLA) on growth performance, apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of DM and N, fecal pH value, microbial shedding, and blood profiles. In Exp. 1, the 3 dietary treatments were 1) negati...

Effects of Palm Kernel Expellers on Growth Performance, Nutrient Digestibility, and Blood Profiles of Weaned Pigs

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of palm kernel expellers on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, and blood profiles of weaned pigs. A total of 88 weaned pigs (6.94±0.76 kg body weight [BW]; 28 d old) were randomly allotted to 2 dietary treatments (4 pigs/pen; 11 replicates/treatment) in a randomized complete block design (sex as a block). The dietary treatments w...

Effect of mannan oligosaccharides and fructan on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood profile, and diarrhea score in weanling pigs.

A total of 150 weanling pigs [(Yorkshire × Landrace) × Duroc] with an average BW of 7.22 ± 0.80 kg (21 d of age) were used in a 28-d trial to determine the effects of dietary fructan and mannan oligosaccharides on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood profile, and diarrhea score in weanling pigs. Pigs were allotted randomly to 1 of 5 dietary treatments: 1) negative control (NC), bas...

Dietary marker effects on fecal microbial ecology, fecal VFA, nutrient digestibility coefficients, and growth performance in finishing pigs.

Use of indigestible markers such as Cr2O3, Fe2O3, and TiO2 are commonly used in animal studies to evaluate digesta rate of passage and nutrient digestibility. Yet, the potential impact of indigestible markers on fecal microbial ecology and subsequent VFA generation is not known. Two experiments utilizing a total of 72 individually fed finishing pigs were conducted to describe the impact of diet...
